Enjoying Those Tantalising Theological Arguments

This article is a follow-up to the recent article, Eluding Endless Theological Arguments, for there are always two or many more angles to just about everything.

Now, I use, or start from, a certain premise here, having a cogent case for positive, and what I call “tantalising,” argument. This mode of tantalising argument is always enshrouded, like Barnabas and Paul did in Acts 15 at the Council at Jerusalem, in high reason. The points they made were telling. They, by their evidence, commanded a further hearing. This event was a critical tipping point in the history of the Christian faith. Imagine if those in the Council had ears not to listen! (We should praise God for their wisdom and humility.)

The Origin of the DJ

The origin of the DJ stems from the late 60′s, where the development of sound and amplification technology began to compete with the traditional orchestra music, which was Unable to compete with the economic savings of a DJ that could fill a dance floor and provide powerful sound through amplification.

After the decade of the 70′s, disco and development of vinyl records with better sound quality, made the DJ gradually grow in popularity making it the number one choice in entertainment which in turn started the entire movement of night clubs where most DJs perform. This movement, not only created more money and gigs for DJ’s but also started a string of DJ schools, teaching the art of DJing.

You Can’t School Me on the Menu at My Restaurant

So, there’s nothing servers love more than RCs explaining the menu to us! Or better yet, correcting the menu for us.  “Honey, you must be new.  Trust me, you guys have potato skins.  I don’t know when they took them off the menu, but you have them.  We had them here about two months ago.” I have personally been working at my restaurant for over three years.  We’ve never once offered potato skins in the whole three years.  Not only that, my chain has been around for quite some time, and the managers assure us that we’ve NEVER had potato skins.  But I’ve had an RC get absolutely hostile with me for refusing to get the an order of the potato skins that they know, without a shadow of a doubt, that we offer as a regular appetizer.

What Types of Techniques Can Be Used by Animators?

Experts have been playing with animation for years. The idea of using a sequence of motion to create the illusion of a moving object is very exciting to some people, enticing them to make a career out of it. There are many different forms of animation for those who are looking to become animators.

“Plain” animation, clay animation, and computer animation are the three different methods of animating techniques. These are all essentially different forms of stop-motion animation. 2-D animation, drawn on cells, was once the most common type, however, 3-D was created using clay animation and is becoming increasingly more popular through computer animation.
